On July 23, 2018, Perkumpulan Darma Laksana held a program which theme ‘The Beauty of Indonesian Cultural Diversity’ to celebrate the National Child Day, The students from the three study houses in Malang were invited to come to the House of Mercy, Dau Malang. They were asked to wear Indonesian traditional costumes from different parts of Indonesia. Some of them were also asked to wear Chinese, Indian and Arab costumes. It is expected that the children would learn that modern Indonesian culture did not only refer the Indonesian traditional cultures but also the cultures lived by the migrants. There were some performances in the program. One of the performance was poem reading, the poem read was on the beauty of religious and cultural diversity
