Slavery is against Human Rights. The Indonesian Carmelite NGO supports the National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month. Please see the attached toolkit. From this toolkit you will be able to get information about the facts of slavery nowadays, the Church’s position in eliminating slavery and human trafficking and how the society may engage in preventing and solving this human rights problem. Moreover, in the toolkit you may find a day of prayer booklet that can be used in your community.
