The House of Titus Brandsma in Gempol-Sukun, Malang-Indonesia, hosted an Islamic prayer and common breaking of the Ramadhan fast on 19 April 2021. The house for poor elderly people run by the Indonesian Carmelite NGO every years holds this activity several times in Ramadhan. The activity on the evening was started with an Islamic prayer in Arabic. Many Muslims came and participated in the prayer and breaking the fast activity whereas the Catholics serve the food and drinks. This kind of activity becomes a tool to build religious understanding among them.
